Right I know you don’t really care about cookies as much as you’re pretending to right now by reading this but since I’m required to give you the option to opt in or out, the option is there at the bottom of the page.  If you opt in or out you can always change your mind and switch by clicking the banner at the bottom of the page…….. I’m also going to make fun of this the whole way through this document because I think it’s pretty ridiculous that I have to write this and I need to keep it fun.

What are cookies ?

Cookies are tasty baked goods that can aid you in gaining body fat if not used correctly, they apparently are also small text files that are used to store small pieces of information, seems to me whoever came up with the name cookies as opposed to ST files (which I would have used instead of confusing grannies that their computers were full of biscuits) was perhaps a bit of a fan of baked goods. The cookies are stored in a cookie jar in my kitchen, the internet ones are stored on your device when the website is loaded on your browser. These cookies help us make the website function properly, make the website more secure, provide better user experience, and understand how the website performs and to analyse what works and where it needs improvement.

How  we use cookies ?

I eat them judiciously based on my activity levels that day.
In all seriousness, as with the entire internet world, our website uses a variety of cookies, first-party and third-party cookies for a number of purposes. The first-party cookies are mostly necessary for the website to function the right way, and they do not collect any of your personally identifiable data. The third-party cookies used on our websites are used mainly for understanding how the website performs, how you interact with our website, keeping our services secure, providing advertisements that are relevant to you, and all in all providing you with a better and improved user experience and help speed up your future interactions with our website.

How can I control the cookie preferences ?

Jeez I told you at the top, could have saved yourself a whole lot of reading  by paying attention, once again should you decide to change your preferences later through your browsing session, you can click on the “Privacy & Cookie Policy” tab on your screen. This will display the consent notice again enabling you to change your preferences or withdraw your consent entirely, the power is yours. In addition to this, different browsers provide different methods to block and delete cookies used by websites. You can change the settings of your browser to block/delete the cookies. To find out more out more on how to manage and delete cookies, visit wikipedia.org, www.allaboutcookies.org. which is just as boring as it sounds but also quite informative.
